KDV Space

Drive Sync

A private utility for its owner's media library.

KDV Space Drive Sync copies media files chosen by the owner from a personal server to a folder in the owner's Google Drive. The owner uses the copies for playback in their private media server. There are no public accounts or sign-up.

The Google authorization requests drive.file, which lets the uploader create and verify files it creates. A separate service account has read-only access to the specific folder shared with it for playback. The application does not request access to the rest of the owner's Drive for uploading.
